Friday Jan. 9th

I made the call this morning, and I had written 10 leads down and taken to work with me, so after the call, I called all 10 leads. Out of the 10, I was only able to talk to 1. She was no longer interested, so I told her I would send her the info in an email, and if anything changed for her, she would have my info and she could get in touch with me. I left 1 message, got 3 disconnected, and didn't get answering machines on the rest, just no answer. Of the two women who had asked me to call them back today, I got 2 machines, and left a message for both.

I also saw a man at the mailbox. He was telling me he hoped I enjoyed my retirement, and that he had wanted to go back to work ever since he retired. I told him I had something on line I was working on, and he said he had been "taken" a few times with online businesses. I asked him what had happened, and he said that people didn't do what they said they would do. They got you signed up and sent you some products, and then you may never hear from them again. I told him I understaood, that I had been involved with some of those, but that this business was very different from anything else I had ever seen. I asked him if I could give him my card with my business url, and he said, sure, he would look at it. Then when he started to leave, he said he would see me tomorrow. This happened right after the call, so I was all pumped up and ready for this. It is amazing how much difference that kind of support and encouragement make. I have plans to visit a school and a couple of non profits Monday. Who knows what tomorrow will bring:) It has been a good day! Goodnight everyone!
