It was nice to be back on the calls tonight, even though I enjoyed the time off. I actually got more calls and follow-ups done with the extra hour, but I need the interaction with other people who are working toward the same goal. I am very excited about the new year, especially after hearing Ginny talk about it tonight. I had already decided that this would be the best year ever to make my dreams come true, but it was confirmed tonight on the call when Ginny said almost the same thing.
This year I need to keep my goals in sight. I wrote them down at the beginning of the boot camp, but it is easy to loose sight of your goals sometimes when life gets in the way. I will take some time tonight to make a new list of goals, not only for MPM, but for my retirement, which is coming the end of Feb., goals for my health, which I haven't been taking care of for far too long, and goals for spending more time doing the things that are REALLY important, such as making other people's lives better, spending more time with family, making a difference in my community.....
I hope everyone feels the fresh breath of hope this new year! It reminds me of a few years ago when my husband and I took in a relative who's mother could not handle him, (a very active 11 year old) and he was getting into lots of trouble. Every time he would mess up, he would say "can we just start over?"
I think we all feel that way sometimes. I know I do. New Years always brings a chance to just start over, like Ginny said on the call tonight. Let's all commit to that fresh start on this 5th day of January. Have a great week everyone!

Wanda,
I'm not sure how I missed it on the call when you told us of your goals for the new year, but I did: You're going to retire the end of February? WOW-EEE. Cool.
How exciting because Boot Camp will give you a whole different perspective and positioning as your date for retirement draws closer. You and Eleanor are in a friendly race for first retirement ;-).
Congratulations on your Fresh Start and your New Breath of Hope. All of us are feeling it, and it's exciting.
